I was trying to figure out how to get these two photos together as one photo of the day. For now on will be just one photo a day.
Paul, I am not a huge fan of HDR but I like some aspects of it. I have trial software for now. I am not in too much of a rush to purchase the software program.

You're right, the first looks more natural, but then I've never been an HDR fan.

I like both shots, the first one more real the second more dramatic. Great macro.
I like the first shot better. The background distracts from the subject in the second one.
i love the way the colour of the thorns really pops in the second one!
