We have been having a lot of wind storms with pounding rain against our windows. I took this with my 100 mm macro lens L series. I used the Topaz filters in the Photoshop Elements.
Rick, Brooklyn Creek is in Comox, BC Canada. Thanks on the Grocery store, I would like to do an actual painting on canvas. Perhaps you are right, it does look like a "painting" in the photo. Thanks for stopping by. I will visit yours soon.
Love the texture on this one and the abstract lighting really adds to it.
In your recent comment on my photo of the water droplet from the melting ice you asked: "mind my asking what settings you used for this one? And did you use a tripod?" There was a reasonable amount of light so I was set at f7.1 for 1/320 sec. I use an ISO of 160 on my camera. I was using my 50mm macro prime lens. I have tried hand holding but as I breath and my body moves it goes in and out of focus too fast so I used a tripod on this.

Must admit, Topaz works on shots like this.
Love that picture !
Nice post-processing!
Great light in this shot, Stephanie, and I love the colours !
You said that you were thinking of painting the grocery store in the future - I think you already did with that photo. Very nice.
And wow - that IS clear water in that stream (can that be in Brooklyn ?).
