A Cumberland Doorway
Many of the photographs I take, usually is intended to become future paintings like this one. I have seen photographers have the same fascination as myself to doors. I saw quite a few interesting doors in Cumberland but I did not want to attract any unwanted attention. So I chose a house with its drapes drawn.

I know what you mean - but I think that feeling of attracting attention has to be overcome to get the shot we want.
it looks very textured this photo, almost like a painting already! i think the composition is really nice!
This is lovely and does already look like a painting. Nice soft colors. I'm always afraid people will come out of the house and shoo me away!
I very much like door and window images for paintings too.
I think this is great inspiration for a painting!
